I appreciate thoughtful design in everyday life and have a strong eye for noticing small design decisions that quietly influence how people interact with the world around them, sometimes for better or worse.

Whether it’s recognizing a Norman Door, noting the salience (or lack thereof) of critical signage in an airport, or observing how people reshape spaces over time, like at your local gym, I’m constantly reflecting on how design shapes behavior.

This same curiosity carries into my professional work. For the past seven years, I’ve worked in the transportation industry, supporting the implementation of emerging technologies such as connected and automated vehicles, with a focus on user acceptance, trust, and real-world needs.

My work centers on understanding human behavior within complex systems and how people establish relationships with technology. I specialize in qualitative research methods, including focus groups, one-on-one interviews, and usability testing, to translate user insights into meaningful improvements in safety, mobility, and system design. With an academic background in Industrial Engineering, I also bring experience in experimental design, data collection, and testing.

I’m eager to connect with other experts and collaborate on meaningful projects grounded in human-centered design and research. Let’s explore opportunities to work together!

Hi, I’m Margaret.
